Our Visit

July 14, 2011

We finally set foot into the House of Hope today to see how the organization works. House of Hope is a non-profit organization providing physical aid to the underprivileged families living in the Rifle Range area in Ayer Itam, Penang, Malaysia. And I must say, it wasn’t like anything we would expect before entering!

Although it’s a place housing people (mostly children) who are in need, all of them are in a hyped up mood and spirits are high in the building compared to most of the fortunate kids I know. They don’t seem to be complaining about the lack of resources but instead enjoy what they already have.

And that is one of the prime reasons why we want to help them. The Vivid Project aims to help those in need and particularly for this case, help people who have hopes for their future as well.
